Collier County Adopts New Microchipping Policy

Collier County is planning to start microchipping all of its impounded dogs and cats
The benefits of microchipping one’s pet are aboundless and Collier County is now taking steps to insure that as few pets as possible have to go without a chip.
Collier County officials have come up with a plan to keep an eye on the county’s dog and cat population. The plan would involve microchipping all impounded dogs and cats therefore allowing them to be tracked once they were adopted out of the animal shelter.
